MD graduation in 1981 from Medical School, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences), Mashhad, IR Iran

 

PhD graduation in 1991 from the Department of Medicine, Charing Cross and Wesminister Medical School, University of London, London, UK.

 

PhD thesis; Responsiveness of human bronchi to pharmacological agonists and antagonists

 

Research interests;

1. Airway therapeutic and regulation in asthma, COPD and chemical war victims

2. Smoking (prevalence and respiratory effects)

3. Environmental and occupational respiratory diseases

4. Respiratory effect of toxic agents (mainly asthma, COPD and chemical war victims)

5. Pulmonary Function tests in health and lung diseases

6. Exercise and rehabilitation in respiratory disease

7. Prevalence of respiratory diseases in the region

8. Respiratory pharmacology of Medicinal plants

 

Published 190 full papers in International Journals (in English language) and 10 in Farsi Language
