Maryam Mahmoud Abadi

I was born in Mashhad on 1975. In 2001, I was graduated from Mashhad as a general practitioner. I worked in Neyshabour for two years as emergency physician. In 2004, I received an overseas scholarship for PhD course from the ministry of health and medical education, which led to my travel to Belgium for studying in the field of physiology, orientation of heart. In 2009, I was graduated from ULB Brussels University. In 2010, I was selected as a faculty member of physiology department of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. To the present, I have aimed to equip the research laboratory of heart physiology in various models of isolated heart and molecular research labs.

My research field is in-vitro and in-viro evaluation of different models of cardiac ischemia and heart failure and research on various mechanisms for creation and treatment of heart disorders with a history of diabetes and ischemic diseases. In this regard, I have published many different articles. Moreover, one of my duties is to teach heart physiology in different educational levels, including bachelor’s and master’s degrees and PhD.
